Malawi
In its eighth year, our Malawi program is working in 17 or the country’s 28 Districts and has demonstrated strong results in decreasing sexual assault, unwanted teen pregnancy, and school dropout.
Somalia
Our Somalia program is in its fifth year and is now engaged in a partnership with UNICEF’s Education program teaching in four of the country’s seven regions.
South Sudan
Our programming in South Sudan demonstrated that ETT is highly effective in reducing GBV even in conflict settings and working with former child soldiers..
SASA
Our SASA program provides a highly effective 12 step group healing model for even very young survivors of sexual assault. SASA provides essential referrals and ongoing support in all the areas in which we work.
IPV Prevention
In partnership with Johns Hopkins University, we are implementing their highly effective “MyApp” program to Nairobi and surrounding Districts.
Micro-finance
Our microfinance program provides survivors of IPV with formal business training, micro credit, and ongoing support groups with RCT results demonstrating a 67% decrease in IPV amongst program participants.
